How to play
An open-world street game on the real map of Mira Road and Bhayandar. Free, invite only, Android. Here is everything you need for your first night in the city.
1 Get an invite
B.H.A.I. (Big Hustle And Influence) is invite only. Join the waitlist with your email and WhatsApp number; the first 100 early invite codes go out on 8 Nov, and everyone else gets theirs at launch. Once you are in, you get 3 invites of your own for your friends.
2 Install the app
B.H.A.I. is not on the Play Store yet. You download the app (an APK file) directly from this site. It runs best on a recent, higher-end Android phone.
Opened this page inside Instagram or WhatsApp? Downloads often fail there: tap the ⋮ menu and choose Open in Chrome first.
- Tap Download and wait for the file to finish (about 220 MB, so use Wi-Fi if you can).
- Open the downloaded file. Android asks whether your browser may install apps: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open.
Only install B.H.A.I. from this site. Never install a copy someone forwards you from somewhere else.
3 Use your invite code
Sign in with your Google account, then type your invite code. Codes look like BHAI-XXXX-XXXX. One code lets one player in. After the first sign-in your progress is saved to your account, so you can carry on from another phone.
4 Controls
The game is played with your phone turned sideways.
Along the top: the radar (tap the mission line next to it to see your job), then the map (tap anywhere to drop a waypoint), the phone (story missions and side jobs), your crew, settings, the time, your cash and your wanted stars.
5 Your first hour

You step off the 6:40 local at Mira Road station with twenty rupees in your pocket. Walk out of the station and find Ramu Kaka at his chai stall. He has work for you. Follow the line on the radar and the map, and take it from there.
Your home is a chawl room by the adda behind the fish market. Sleep there to get your health back and save your game.
6 Getting a name
Your rank goes up as the story moves on. Five ranks:
- Newcomer
- Known Face
- Local Name
- Bhai
- Boss
Everything you do also earns rep, your name on the street, and some parts of the story only open once you have enough of it. When the phone says you need more, do side jobs: errands for the station gangs, bike jobs, races, satta nights, deliveries, chain snatchers on the street. They also pay.
7 Police

Hit someone, take a car, run someone over or ram a police jeep, and you get wanted stars, up to five. The more stars, the more cars come, and they drive harder. From three stars there are roadblocks with spike strips and a helicopter with a searchlight.
To lose them, get out of sight and stay out of sight until the stars stop flashing and fade. Don't stop next to a police car: stand still beside one for a couple of seconds and you are busted, and that costs money.
